Consider While You’re Moving…
San Francisco’s a great place to live but it’s different being a resident here than it is visiting. Daily life is more than just setting up satelite tv service and eating at great restaurants, it’s a lot of hassles you may come unprepared for. Here are some things to keep in mind as you move
The Hills – They’re beautiful from afar but if you plan on doing a lot of walking (and you’ll be doing a lot of walking) you’re going to have some great glutes. The hills in San Fran are numerous and some are quite large so invest in some good walking shoes.
The Parking – If you’ve never lived in a big city before you may be shocked at how hard it is to find parking. Unless you live in a highly residential neighborhood you may want to look for a place that has at least one space included, a real luxury.
The Weather – You may have visions of warm, breezy days in Golden Gate Park but don’t be surprised when it feels more like Seattle. It’s cold here, and windy too, so come with clothes. You’ll need them.
